Community and collaborators

  • The Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC) provides opportunities for broader engagement with the vibrant community of students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals working on energy and resources issues. BERC hosts events and provides educational and networking opportunities. Are you an undergrad? BERC-U is a great entry point to the energy and resources space on campus.
  • The Energy Institute at Haas is a research institute that brings together students and faculty working on energy issues, primarily from the economics angle.
  • The Science Policy Group, led by STEM grad students, hosts events and provides opportunities to get involved in ongoing projects.
  • The Energy Technologies Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory complements on-campus research in power and energy areas.
  • The IEEE Student Chapter at UC Berkeley is a community of undergraduate and graduate students interested in the electrical engineering field. The chapter hosts social activities, networking events and recruitment fairs.
  • WICSE, womxn in computer science and electrical engineering at Berkeley, is a community of graduate students who hosts events to support students through social, outreach and research activities.
